This call features a select Poplar soundboard body/base, Bloodwood or Purpleheart inlay, plus a exotic Purpleheart paddle. Finished in three coats WATER REPPELLING tung-oil. You won't find that on the shelf or the HAND TUNED Tones that this call produces!

Maple Short Box
My goal in founding Woodsong was to produce a quality custom call that EVERYONE could afford. This Maple call fills that bill! Starting with a solid maple soundboard body with a maple base Tite-Bonded together, then inlayed with South American Bloodwood. A thirty checker pattern is the basis of this fine call. It features a Purpleheart paddle inlayed with maple and checkered with the same thirty checker pattern as the body. This call is first class BAR NONE! Awesome clucks, chirps and of course rolling purrs! THIS CALL HAS IT ALL!!

Spanish Cedar Short Box
In working in many exotic woods I've found the ULTIMATE wood for Turkey calls, Spanish Cedar. This wood posseses all the characteristics needed to make a quality call! My Spanish cedar/Purpleheart Box call starts as a solid Spanish Cedar soundboard body with a matching base Tite-Bonded on. It is then inlayed with Maple for color contrast and then we add a thirty checker pattern. The South American Purpleheart paddle has maple inlays and the same matching thirty ckecker pattern. The call is higher pitched - like a really exited hen tone and really throaty purrs. THIS CALL SOUNDS SO GOOD, IT OUGHT TO BE CALLED POACHING!!!

African Zebrawood Short Box
This is one of my top end calls. It features A solid Zebrawood sound body with matching base inlayed in Bloodwood or Purpleheart. It features a thirty checker pattern on both body and Purpleheart paddle. A REAL SHOW CALL and it Works good in the woods too!
