This call is my answer to the in-the-box calls. Why spend your hard-earned money on a production call when for a few dollars more You can have a truly custom call. This call features a select Poplar soundboard body/base, Bloodwood or Purpleheart inlay, plus a exotic Purpleheart paddle. Finished in three coats WATER REPPELLING tung-oil. You won't find that on the shelf or the HAND TUNED Tones that this call produces!

Spanish Cedar Short Box
In working in many exotic woods I've found the ULTIMATE wood for Turkey calls, Spanish Cedar. This wood posseses all the characteristics needed to make a quality call! My Spanish cedar/Purpleheart Box call starts as a solid Spanish Cedar soundboard body with a matching base Tite-Bonded on. It is then inlayed with Maple for color contrast and then we add a thirty checker pattern. The South American Purpleheart paddle has maple inlays and the same matching thirty ckecker pattern. The call is higher pitched - like a really exited hen tone and really throaty purrs. THIS CALL SOUNDS SO GOOD, IT OUGHT TO BE CALLED POACHING!!!

African Teak Purpleheart Short Box
This is the top-end, limited-edition call for 2009. Only 250 will be made! It features a solid African Teak soundboard bodywith a Purpleheart inlay, thirty-checker pattern, Purpleheart base that is inlayed and checkered with a double-nine pattern and the Woodsong logo centered. Both the body & paddle have the thirty-checker pattern. The paddle & base are inlayed with Maple for contrast. Yelp breaks fast to deep rasp. EASY purrs and clucks!!! Genuine Mahogany Purpleheart
My #2 personal Faviorite! This Beauty features a solid soundboard body, tite-bonded to a matching Genuine Mahogany base with a Purpleheart inlay. The Purpleheart paddle is inlayed with Maple.
